Talea performs four world premieres at the Donaueschingen Music Festival. Mauro Lanza combines traditional instruments with unconventional sound sources, including everyday objects such as hair dryers, car horns and toy pianos. Alexander Goehr’s piece is characterized by an almost classical awareness of form and extremely subtle instrumentation. Iris ter Schiphorst has written a composition that includes a text part for Tocotronic singer Dirk von Lowtzow, and Joanna Wozny once again embarks on a journey into the interior of sounds.
