Talea is thrilled to be selected as the winner of a 2014 Chamber Music America ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award, in the category of best contemporary music ensemble. The award recognizes ensembles that present “distinctive programming of music composed within the past 25 years”. We are honored to be chosen alongside the other 2014 awardees. The awards ceremony will take place at the Chamber Music America 2014 conference at the Westin Hotel on January 19th.
The Talea Ensemble is committed to promoting new, groundbreaking music through innovative programming thereby communicating the distinctive voices of composers that deserve to be heard. We are grateful to our audiences and supporters.
